render looks over sharpened and the effects on the left dont really match thee ones on the right

 

I hate when they are over sharpened, yet I havent sharpened it.. lol.. On this 1 I did once, and put 27 fade, damn renders lol

i like the style a lot but how it was mentioned, it seems oversharpend but only on the profile, imo. look at his nose and his mouth, i think that looks pretty weird.
anyway i like the "black and whitedarker..." most! nice job.

 

Ohh, I see it now, I will check that out.. I unsharpened the face a little more.. how about that

not bad but i think the render placement or the render dont really work coz it jus gives a messy look and i dont knw what the main theme of the sig is, the effects are good but i think if u created it with maybe sum other render or like placed it diffeenly would hve look better. Oh yeh and sum stuff is over shaprend like ur clipping mask bit. if anything the render should hve more kinda focus on it. It dont look to bad though good stuff.
