Battle Of The Collaborators!

Idea: Have 4 people split into two teams of 2 for a Battle Of The Collabs!

Rules:
■ Each team is assigned the SAME canvas size to work with.
■ Each team is assigned the SAME 3 images to work with. (These can be stocks or renders or a combination of the both)
■ Each team is given 48 hours to finish their work.
■ The use of any other images, other than the ones assigned, is completely prohibited and immediate disqualification will come to that team.
■ If one of the teams fail to meet the deadline, the opposing team automatically wins, assuming they have their work completed on time. If both teams fail to meet the deadline, the competition will be terminated and no prizes will be rewarded.
■ The use of all 3 images is not required in the work. Variety is given to lessen the chance of having 2 very similar turn outs between the teams.
■ Being aided in the competition from anyone other than your teammate will result in an immediate disqualification.
■ Judges/Moderators will request that the .PSD of each teams finished products is also submitted in order to verify that the contents of the work are legit and no cheating was taken place.

*Note: All rules are subject to change if it is seen as a necassary adjustment. All final rules will be posted at the beggining of the competition

I CANNOT decide what the prizes will be, it is mostly up the the forum admins.

I think it would be better to raise activity on GR before we attempt another competition. :|

 

your idea is something that can pretty much be done in the battle arena part of the site imo, GR already has the renderer of the year and the team tagwall tournament which will commence once there are enough people/teams.

 

Yeah thats what im getting at. Sucks that there may not be enough activity for it though. Thought there were a lot more active members than there actually are. Oh well.

Do what you guys want with it, I only request that my name be mentioned in the closing credits

 

ya this can definitely be considered in the future, but we do have the few competitions going on now. and if it is used, youll definitely be mentioned and i hope youll participate too.

It would require a big effort from the mods and admins to run such a tournament and i for-see alot of fights over well my team mate wasn't online so blah blah .... it would have to be ATLEAST a week deadline.

 

This is understandable. Thats why those rules I have posted at the top are all signed off as "subject to change" meaning they can be altered in anyway.
And I would hope only really dedicated people would sign up, but who knows.
