dont wanna be mean but hes right... the smudging looks to strong and completely random ( im not one for randomness) good job submitting though. you can do better

 

new layer > apply image

smudge in longer strokes in one direction
and make some darker, stronger colors

will looks better believe me

and kinda fill up those black places

This is my first attempt at a completely abstract smudge,
so I'm open to some pretty harsh CnC. ^_^

I just don't like negative foolery.

I wanted the black spaces to kinda be like "holes" or something. :lol:

Nice try with the poem.
The tag itself is kinda boring to be honest.
The colors are bad, and it lacks alot of depth IMO.
Not bad for a first all smudge one though.

its kinda bland. lacks a definite focal point, its just random smudging really.
