I bought a Sony digital camera yesterday from a guy on craigslist, but it was brand new and still sealed. Well it was missing a lense adaptor which I dont really need it but it's missing that. Same thing happened when I bought a Sony HDD camcorder it was missing a lense cap. I obviously dont have a receipt so I cant get that thing from Sony for free. Even when I bought a PS2 like years ago (it was like my 2nd or 3rd PS2) and it was missing some of the papers that usually come with it. Any one else have this problem with Sony products?
Now that you mention it...yes. the sony computer i had now i had to use a recovery disk and from the beginning i ordered one from best buy the place where i bought the PC in the first place. After like two years i didn't need it until one day i tried the ones they gave me...it didn't even work and had to buy one directly from sony, the original copies. Turns out they copied the original ones gave me copies which didn't even work and took the originals and basically im down 30 bucks
I had to buy a recovery disc from Sony when I had a Sony Vaio and the 2nd disc of it was not working which was kind of a waste of money. I payed like 35$ for it, since Circuit City's warranty center is ---- and will not help you out in any way besides saying "IT'S A VIRUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", so yea that sucked. I like Sony products but I think they got a problem when gettting their products packaged.
I use a sony vaio also. I feel your pain. Though i never used the second disk when i restored the PC it never asked for it.
