I've been using this technique for quite a long time now. I thought I would share it here! Hope you like it! Alright im going to add a little piece of info, which really saves time. It works best if you always use the same size for youre signature: -Make a new document, the same size as youre signature. Mine are always 350*120. -Make a new layer, then delete the original. The background should be transparent. Do the 3 border steps, meaning the black-white-black border. Deselect everything, then go to edit>define pattern. -Name it w/e you want and voila, its set. What this did is this: Instead of making the border on each signature, make the new layer on top of the sig like you would normaly, then go to edit>fill and in the content area, select patterns and the custom pattern you just set. Blending modes should be 100% opacity and normal, keep preserve transparency off. Click on okay, and youre border is there! All you gota do now is change the blending mode to soft light, or overlay! Il add that piece to the tutorial soon, so its more convenient If you use about 2 or 3 different sizes for signatures normaly, do it for each. I find it saves a bit of time, and that is always usefull. Hope it helps, and speeds things up a bit!
lotsa peps already knew, but i made it for the abstract vision forums, as some of them there dont have as good borders. Then i figured, what the hell, il post it here to
nice spam I noticed you spammed like that also on frah's tutorial, and on several others. Stop the spam or il report you to a mod..... Click here to see all the posts tuck has made. Notice how its mostly spam?
@Rami: i like it when you have big patches of dark color near the border though, you cant really see it well. @Aversa: i know, and i said this about it: lotsa peps already knew, but i made it for the abstract vision forums, as some of them there dont have as good borders. Then i figured, what the hell, il post it here too
