i actually like it a lot. your experimentation ended in a great result

 

The sig and effects are amazing. The render doesnt fit it though. That sprite ruins the flow big time. I would say get rid of it and leave the bg blank or put something more fitting in there. The guys jacket color ruins it mostly, the grey doesnt go good with the sig colors.

I don't like this one as much as your others :/ It's just not that appealing to me. I think you could work on the lighting. It seems weirdly colored and bluntly forced.

But seriously? From scratch? You have some mad skill x.x Some people can't do that with resources. I wish I could do that (or have the patience to do that)

Exelent work for the pixel art and the montage, but it would be better with more effects. Except this the color balance is nice, the contrast is also good but the stars are a little too big.
