    The price in most countries is considered to be way too high and govt taxes as a proportion to each litre is daylight robbery. Goodluck, but I doubt any govt..including the UK will reduce their taxes and the cash cow that they generate from petrol

    By the way what is the general cost for a litre of petrol in the UK Here in oz its 'around' Aus.$.1.40 a litres and of that I think 38% goes directly to the federal govt along with another 10% for GST costs

    I already signed up as it is ludicrous that we pay so much and for diesel as well!!

    Geeez what will they charge us for man made fuels in the future!!

    It is our Government in the UK that seems to want us to pay top price for everything from petrol to cigarettes and it is shame full!!!

    102.9 now wait untill this time next year. nobody will be driving at this rate.

    $ 100 U.S a barrel and climbing which is a first.Will roughly translate to a 1.50 to 1.60 a litre in Australia

    Yeah, we in the US think we have it bad at ~$3.00/gallon. And to think, gas prices in Europe look half-decent until you do the conversion.
