Which games make the cut? You decide. I think that I would go with: #1 - Crysis #2 - World in Conflict #3 - Half Life 2: EP. 2 #4 - COD4 #5 - NFS --- Street NOTES: You can choose more than one item in the poll. If there are any others you want added, let me know. PC Games only. For others, start a new topic.
It was good but I beat it on hardest in like 4 hours, give or take a couple minutes. I just throught that was a bummer. I didn't get it reinstalled since I killed my computer, I need to try the online play.
Without a doubt Crysis takes the cake, I can only play it on Low/Medium, but even on those settings it looks spectacular, I could only imagine how awesome it must look on a DX10 capable card. The fights, the ambience, the fact that you can modify your guns, vehicles, everything about Crysis is awesome. Finally a game that breaks the boundaries once again, it's somewhat linear but at least you can pick where you want to go, instead of following a straight path.
well, every FPS is inherently linear. At the least this is more open than the likes of halo. for me crysis CnC3 Wic owned and played them all. Each pushes the boundarys of their genre a bit. crysis and WiC are just BEAUTIFUL GAMES. Stunning absolutely stunning and they push the boundaries as far as realism goes. CnC3 atleast to me is addicting.
I agree that Crysis IS an overrated game, however it may be one of those rare cases where this game actually surpassed at least my expectations. Usually I don't believe all the hype of some games because they end up becoming disappointing, but this game on the other hand was truly beautiful. I'm sure my framerate will completely suffer once I get further into the game though, since even if I'm in a huge fight against many of soldiers I end up lagging.
