Well I bought the phone a month or so ago. I've had a microSD card, which the phone supports, but I don't have the usb cable to connect to my computer and my computer does not have bluetooth capabilities. So I'm sitting here thinking to myself that I have a 2gb external memory card and its doing nothing but sitting in my phones memory card bay, thats it. Since I didn't want to wait to get the USB cord through the mail I decided to try a different approach.

I have an adapter (microSD to SD card) so i insert my microSD card into the SD card. Then i put the sd card into my Digital camera and connect my camera to my computer. Everything seems to be going well i even have the folders from my phone that it put on when i initially inserted the microSD card.

heres my problem: I add music files (I've tried many different places, anything that includes the word 'audio' or 'music') but everytime i disconect my camera and put the microSD card back in my phone it doesn't recognize the card
    and it makes me mad
so i put the card back in the camera, format it with windows, take it out, and put it back in my phone and it recognize iit.

    any suggestions?
besides to get the usb lol

i insert it and it wont show up
but if i remove it while the phone is on it says sd removed and if i reinsert it while my phone is back on it will say microSD card inserted

so i don't understand what the problem is anymore lol

That usually works for anyone, maybe try ringing your tech support line?

i would but my brother is an employee at Verizon
so i have an Employee line,
so anything i need to be trouble shooted has to go through him because he has to answer questions proving that he is the dominate owner of the phone and the employee account

    its lame lol

Does your brother have the same type of phone as you? If not, is the songs on his sd and your sd card the same file format?

Btw maybe it has nothing to do with this but I'd also recommend getting the usb cable from ebay and use bitpim to transfer things to your phone.

he has a lg i have a motorola

    but a thought recently occured

sometimes the sd card size (mb, gb, etc..) has a conflict with the phone

i have a 2gb microSD card... phone supports up to 4gb i believe...
maybe ill just buy a new micoSD

and no need for bitpin, there is a folder called music on my memory card that when i insert into my phone it recognizes
    its a mp3 phone

and yes both are FAT file systems
