    Gears
    COD4
    Halo
    An I personally like Rainbow Six: Vegas

    If your not getting Live get
    Mass Effect
    Oblivion (<---My Favorite game ever)
    Assassins Creed

    Bioshock i didnt really get into. Its kind of fun but at the same time boring....

    ok. i do love me some shooters but what about other types of games? GHIII, AC, Oblivion...anything else?

    Regardless of what people are saying, at LEAST rent Bioshock...

    Eh, can't think of many more. A lot of good games are set to be coming out relatively soon ;

    DMC 4
    Ninja Gaiden 2
    Turok (<3333333333333333333333333333333)

    Definetely pick up Assassins Creed + Oblivion.
    Avoid G.R.A.W and avoid CoD2, oh, avoid King Kong...

    Actually scratch that, get King Kong, get the easiest 1000 achievements ever made. (And the game isn't half bad to play through, especially if you liked the film)

    Oh, get Dead Rising. 100%, go get it, now.

    Call of Duty 4 is a masterpiece
    Gears of War is great for online matches, and the campaign is pretty good
    Bioshock is great too
    The Orange Box is a necessity, the Half Life games are AWESOME, Team Fortress 2 will have you playing it for months, and Portal is just amazing
    Forza Motor Sport 2 is great too

    You should get Saint's Row, Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Test Drive: Unlimited...if you're into those kinds of games.

    RB (Rock Band) GHIII, Splinter Cell, COD4, Halo 3, and Gears of War are all awesome.

    Saints Row, and Condemned are two great games that you can get pretty cheap right now. Congrats on the 360!

    its not that i think it gets boring...i just dont want to pay $60 for a typical shooter.

    Congrats on your 360 :D ,
    PES08 (My m8 loves it), COD4 (Just got it and very impressed) , Oblivion (I've known people disappear for months on this game ), Forza 2 (very good simulated racing game, You can get it quite cheap aswell), Tony Hawk project 8 (My m8 cant put it down..Its on my wishlist), Crackdown (good game, Really fun jumping around the roofs on Co-op), Fight night 3 (Really addictive boxing game lol), Rainbow 6: Vegas (standard tacticle shooter, I prefer it online), Saints row (Good game, was laggy online though!)
    Hope that helps a bit :D
