Your first?! My god, its great! Lose the line under the text and you'll have one nice sig!

 

Lol... Better than my first by far.

I don't like the cloudy effect around his neck, feels unnecessary. Also, the sig's a little simple. If you really need to, maybe try some brushing.

Go do some tutorials.

 

lol Yeah much better than my first, but you need to blend the render much more.

 

As someone above said, it's just filter, render, text, and pretty bad text at that. Use smaller fonts with good antialiasing at a low opacity if they don't fit in well. Nice for your first, however.
