im having lots of fun with my ps3..while my wii on the otherhand..well since i got galaxy ive played it a bit more..but uncharted, ratchet and clank future, and cod4 are getting much more playtime =)
sounds typical, per console sold, the wii has relatively few game sales as compared to other consoles. the wii is being bought up mostly by the masses and not the gamers.
Nintendo are silly, they have run out of consoles at Christmas time! People including me are starting to see potential in the PS3 now, with the price cuts! I have a Wii, but I expect to add the PS3 to my collection as well soon !
I think it's because the Wii's are sold out EVERYWHERE. And so no one can buy one. But if wii were in stock, I think they would of sold WAY more than the PS3.

if nintendo is so silly, then why is it that the wii, with a roughly $100 manufacturing costs often sells for $400 is sold out instantly and has overall outsold a system which costs 600 to make but is sold for $400 nintendo isn't silly, they're brilliant. They're playing it for all it's worth. By restricting supply, they're generating the "snob effect" which is effectively a market condition where the rarity of an item invokes increased demand.
meh the only games i see for ps3 are ratchet and clank and maybe warhawk cod4 is better on 360 imo - mainly because theyre both the same both gameplay and graphics wise, and since the ps3 supposedly boasts its own superb graphics engine and yet barely matches the 360 through cod4, it means the ps3 is crap imo
Apparently some people fail to actually read. Its a fluke, it was only in one country that it out sold the Wii, and that country wasnt the UK, the US, or Canada. To top it off, Nintendo is, or has already broken the record for number of consoles sold in one month. In just two weeks alone, and this is just here in the states, Wii did over 602,000 wii console sales. The number climbing every week. Lets face it, PS3 is getting owned hardcore, as is the xbox 360. Not to mention, Sony reps are buying up their own products, thus making some sales numbers, invalid.
actually IQ is better on the 360... it's just that it's only rendered at 720p vs. the 1080p of the PS3 well if you have a 1080p monitor that is...
