I suggest you take a chill pill inverse before you find yourself having a nice vacation from this site. This is the second thread i have seen you in today where you are flaming people because they are asking a question. It doesn't matter if there is a topic about it already, if they want to find something out, let them do so. Its not hurting you nor any other person is it? If you really don't like threads like this then i suggest you stay away from them!

I don't want to see this kind of behaviour again, this is your first warning.

Well im not gonna get petty about the revenge rep as i dont really care.

However ill justify why i neg reped you in the first place... You posted a reply in my thread which would have offended me if i actually cared what you think. Done.

Thanks for everyone who gave me some help with cards and the Other problem. Was very useful ;)

Was thinking of getting this card http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....amp;subcat=1008

Its says its Built for Microsoft® Windows® Vista™, does that mean it wont work on my computer if im running XP? I would have thought it would still work but i don't want to spend all this money and only be half sure.

    Thanks!

Ignore Vista stickers. It'll work on any OS.

And I'm pretty sure thats the card that everyone has been recommending from the start.

Of course it will work, it just means it will work better on Vista due some new functions on it. ;)

Oh, and seems a good card to me. ;)

no it means that their marketting department is full of it and thinks that the average consumer is an uneducated idiot who will be more likely to buy things if it has a pretty sticker or logo on it.

FYI as far as gaming goes it works worse on vista than on XP due to less-developed drivers. Not a huge difference but still there.

also don't necro way old threads unless there is a definite need.

I would say 8800GT it is by far the best bang for your buck card out there.
