Hey, if you can give me an idea on a better transition I am all for it...but I want to use THAT filter on it.

You know what would be cool? If you sketched half the tag, and then make it fade into the normal tag. That would be sweet. D:

 

Yea that would be tight, but hell I aint no good artist like that....and I definitely don't have the time to do that or the skills haha

 

Glad you got ride of the black on the upper right, that bothered me. I think the theme you were trying to express is conveyed much better in the second version as well... V2 has better lighting and much more interesting effects and background. I like it a lot. The typography is a bit hard to read, but it looks good.

I was thinking that too. Maybe some vectoring? If you wanted it to show going from fake to real, maybe you could do something to make it look like it was from the comic. I was thinking some dots, like used in pop art.
