Most of the stuff I listen to is in Norwegan.. I have some mainstream stuff that's in English (Dimmu)...
Their religious beliefs are retarded (Satanism, I mean...the way they believe it - which isn't LaVey). They preach how Satan>God when it's the same thing...they're both deities and it's kind of weird...I'm not going to go into detail, but it's pretty hypocritical. Anyways, I don't care about lyrics, unless there's a super cheesy part (any Trivium song).
"Earth Messiah" and "Corspecycle" are my favorites from them... I haven't had a chance to listen to much of their older stuff, though. I think most black metal bands sing about "Satan"... Christianity's Satan, because its sort of taboo... And they want to stir up criticism, etc.
Into Eternity... the only real "metal" band i'll listen to because their from Canada & Stu Block is amazing!

Doing a speech on this topic kinda sucks... I have a 6 page outline, thats not even complete. Its only a 10 minute speech.
I was never really into metal until I heard Rage Against the Machine.. I guess some of you may argue that there not really metal but I think they could just about squeeze into the genre! Other metal bands which I've grown to like are Trivium, Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine, Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold! Seen most of these live too :lol: Chrozby
I use to lack personal creativity back in the day, and they were my favorite band at the time, and still remain one of the fav's. (Blind was taken, so I went with this because it was nicer than |Opeth|) >_<
