oversharpened on his left, colors are distorting over there as a result :/ right side looks nice though~
I had a feeling people would think that part looks weird. It's actually not due to oversharpening though. The distorted coloring is from the film grain layer that I used. It was suppose to help in the dissipation effect, but I might need to work on that a little more. Thanks for the input. =)
left side esp. on the bottom of the render is too sharp and messy. Did a good job with that render, I have yet to see a decent sig with it.
That's an easy fix mate. Just blur it a tad. ^_^ Looks good. Lighting's just a tad strong, but well placed. Effects are pretty nice as well. Maybe could use some more burning for depth though. Still, good job.
A friend of mine also mentioned the burning for depth thing. I gave it a shot in a few sigs and I can't really seem to get it down yet. It's a little difficult for me to pinpoint the spots that need it. I'll make a few more sigs within the week trying that technique and hopefully you guys could continue with the great input. =)
ahh, yeah. That was hard for me to learn too. Here's some tips - • Burn shadows for depth and get used to that first. • Burn on a "strength" of about 5-8 and work small amounts. • Don't overburn • Burn away from your lightsource, it almost never works to burn you lightsource. lol • After burning a bit, back off and look at the piece as a whole to see where it needs to go next Hope that helps, Keep up the good work.
