yeah so the title sez it,i finally worked all my problems out with vista ,only one little thing left...my friggin mic wont work...Im usin a headset,and it worked fine with xp..but now,nada,i checked my in game settings,checked my mic settings,sez its workin,but nope...dosent work,anyone else have this problem on vista?
i never encountered this when i used vista, does your headset come with its own driver? or is there a mute button thats on? (just have to ask... ive done that before >.>)
driver problem maybe? Have you checked to see if the mic volume is off or muted? Try the little things, does your sound work apart from the mic? Plugged in the correct hole etc
yeah..i checked the mute and all seems be off ,its regular jacks,no usb,i didnt check for drivers tho,didnt think you needed drivers for a headset,had em for awile ,i'll check online if i can fid any drivers,thanx for the help guys.
Theyre not drivers for the headset, theyre drivers for the sound card the headset is plugged into If you were using xp, chances are windows had built in drivers that they used, and worked. Vista on the other hand needs drivers for everything
