I dont think you can do that.

But either way, I think you can just burn the songs down on a disc.

Thanks, repped. Could've used this a month ago when itunes deleted all my songs, so I didnt have to go back and import them; but I'm getting a new laptop in a week.

Not sure if it works on a mac.

Just a little warnings: The songs are a 1 time buy. The file is for your computer and your computer only. Well, thats what I've been told.

No its honestly not that hard as I have done this multiple times. Normally your ipod and itunes together sets the library on itunes the default source for your songs and if you plug in your ipod and sync it, then your library would be wiped. You need to set it so the songs on your ipod are the default library on the computer so when you sync it, it uploads he songs from the library on your ipod, simple as that. I actually called the Ipod company and they told me that directly a while back. If you don't understand what I'm saying or have any questions your best bet would be directly calling ipod for specifics as I have not done this in a while.

Actually, this depends. If you've bought all your songs from the iTunes store, you can just plug it in and iTunes will allow you to transfer all the songs to your new computer. You can put them on up to 5 computers. However, if your songs are not from iTunes, you can use the program above, or I prefer CopyTrans. It's only a trial, but there's no limitations on it really

    Senuit: http://fadingred.org/senuti/

Does the same thing that the other one does but works for mac. Supposedly this even imports it into iTunes so one less step. But I don't have a mac.
