people have been saying GR is dead for the past few years. here's the facts 1 people don't have school over the summer. Guess what? it's winter time and people are in school 2 the cred whores were expunged. between the occasional cred whore and those who worshipped them GR is a little slower than it would've been. BUT BUT BUT is GR dead? no. Was it shaken up? yep. sometimes a little rebellion is good, sometimes things need to be shaken up. Forums by their nature are changing and constantly evolving. People come and go. lately I've noticed quite a few OLD GR people coming back. Faith09 and RzN are OLD GR. Those guys were kickass back in the day. IF you check, the GR here and today si smaller leaner and more community oriented than before. Everyone knows everyone, those who like it here are here. Before the cred whoring it was like this. I might sound a bit mean, but before BFTP f'ed ---- up by starting the whole creds for cash bull----, people here were more tight knit. lo and behold, people here are more tight knit than they were a few months ago. I'll be blunt i miss a few people who got pissed and left after the whole cred steel ordeal. I'm mostly to blame for that as I suggested it. If I had it to do over again I'd have said for a few things to be different (EG: max cred steal of 2k, price of 500, very limited stock etc.) Here it is now, I'm sorry if i pissed anyone off. Heck I liked valence, I liked zohair. Don't know why they got so bitchy. Good rant Xlink, I don't think GR is necessarily dying but it is a lot more inactive then before. This happens when things change but eventually it will even out and I'm sure members will come back.

Who did we prank again that time? Gimmie a link to that thread. Besides from my point of view, I never even gave a crap about the creds. I gave all my renders away for free, even the render packs. I'm pretty sure I never even bought anything, just kept donating the creds to whoever for whatever. I wasn't making graphics to earn creds or to hide my secrets from people unless they gave me credits. I just did it cause it was fun and occupied my time when I was in a creative mode. If you make a sig and someone wants the .PSD, just give it to him. If he uses all your ---- then, well he sucks at graphics. People might acknowledge him as good, but he knows he sucks. And in the end, isn't that funny anyways? The answer.. no. Because no one knows but him. But who cares? I don't! If you're not good at graphics, but you're a cool guy on the forum, that's good enough for me. If it was up to me, i'd just trash the whole credit system cause I really have no use for credits at all. These 900 have been sitting here for 2 years now, and I still have no intention of doing anything with them, except maybe using them at the shop to enhance my penis size via internet. But some of you guys are credit crazy. So i'm sure they won't be leaving.
GRs extremely strict rules make it much less appealing to me. I mean seriously, you can swear on websites like Youtube and Myspace, but not here? please. i mean, i can see no nudity because it is sort of not for GRs sort of theme, but cutting swearing and even words that arnt swears is just stupid. its time this website gets more mature, and fast. and also, why the hell don't posts count in the Spam Heaven section? their still posts..
