    Hi there.
I have never visited this section, and I'm here for like 2 years already!
but things change. As I spotted, that my grunge techniques are getting more and more old and not-good, I decided to open photoshop, start a new 400x150 document and start wexperimenting.
I've had no tutorials, no idea of using C4Ds, no idea of all those new techniques, I just played around with colours, brushes, filters...
    this is what I got.

constructive critism wellcome :) feel fre to post any suggestion, what can I make better about it...
and someone, please... could you explain to me how to use C4Ds?

    enjoy.

c4d's are more or less just premade depth machines (kinda xD) they are abstract normally, and they are added to add new dimensions to otherwise "flat" looking sigs. You can still create depth in otherways, i dont always use c4d's myself, but i tend to like a good bubble c4d to add some 3d aspect ^^. if they have black backgrounds you'll want to use color dodge or linear dodge, and otherwise (transparent bg's) blend them however you wish :)

on to your sig, i think its awesome ^^ slap some text on and call it a day lol

background is kinda nice, but the left side of render does not blend into it in any way, that catches the eye on first sight. it's nice in overall - just render needs to be blended more into bg, imho.

well... it was not my intention to let it blend with the background... but if you think it would be better, why not?
Ill try to do so next time :)

I like the bg and colors, except its a bit dark. The render is nice and blends well with those colors. Needs text and a border ;)

    Other than that, nice job.
