Problem With Dvd Drives

    can anyone help me with this please SS below.... i can install them and i dont know why.... and just to add, i dont have the discs anymore :(

    you running Vista? you can try reinstalling your chipset drivers for your motherboard

    you should have a cd/dvd for your motherboard if you dont you can goto the motherboards website and download it from their. If you dont know which mobo you have, you can use cpu-z and it will tell. The 1st thing I would is check all the connections make sure their secure. Did you install any new software recently I had a problem like this with XP.

    only installed vista again cos of removing a virus which is gone, which i spose is one good thing,lol
