I'm newish at this, made sigs in Jasc Paint Shop 7 (Any users will know that it's TERRIBLE), then finally upgraded to CS2 a while ago. Any and all constructive CnC would be appreciated, along with tips.

I think my signatures might be a little too simple, any ideas on how to make them more advanced?

Long time ago, just experimenting with lines.

DJ Qbert, maybe a bit too blurry and dark? One of my newest, might go back and mess with the text a bit.

V2, I like the text a bit better now.

I'm in no means even remotely close to being a photoshop master, so again, all help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah... It was actually from a stock, so I had to render it myself. The low opacity hides the terrible edges >.<.

    Switch focals then, you think?

You don't always have to render images from stocks. Just resize it and reposition it until you establish what your focal is going to be and just make the sig from there.

I know. But the entire image is from the same stock.
