Not bad mate. You're getting better. Here's some tips for C4ds: Don't try to hide them with "mode" settings. They're beautiful, so let 'em show. Go with the flow. Try to see some flow in the tag or render and place C4ds accordingly. Recolor brother! Mess with the hue and saturation to get colors that match your render. NEVER - randomly place C4ds and then set them to "overlay". NEVER - keep throwing on effect c4ds and setting them to "overlay". NEVER - leave parts of a c4d directly in front of your focul (unless completely on purpose for some reason.). Hope that helped! Good luck, And keep up the good work!
thnaks ninja i thought it turned out cool and thank you for the critique hoplite! yeh u caught me i set the cd4 to overlay...but i did erase the parts over the focal and i did set the hue to match the render. im gona make another soon, so what should i set the cd4 to instead of overlay?
imo color dodge is nice if you want just some color accents, otherwise soft-light/screen/lighten on varying opacities can be nice, depending on how focal u want them ^^
It's nice to see that you're starting to use C4D's, but for them to really look nice you should set them on screen, color dodge, lighten, or linear dodge. Most of the other blending modes don't make them look too well.
thanks guys! in my next tag ima use screen. i dont know how linear dodge looks because ps6 doesnt have it but i like the way screen and lighten look.
