Well...Ive never believed in ghosts and stuff like that. I thought it was all a trick your mind plays...But...Last Xmas I came back from my house to my GFs...loaded down with arm fulls of presents. So I wait behind to lock up the door and the deadbolt and such for the night after coming in. So she walks ahead into the back of her house. Map: So I come into the kitchen and call out "Where do you want me to bring this stuff?" and she returns "In here, Im in the den" so I turn down the hallway leading to the den and I watch someone walk into the bathroom...I see the back...and long dark hair...walk into the bathroom. So I thought it to be her...so I walk down the hallway and get between the bedroom door and the bathroom door...past the foyer into the den and she yells out again from the den "I said Im in the den!"....I was utterly confused....but I know what I saw.... Fast forward to about 2 weeks later...and just to let you all know, I turned on my light and I have goosebumps as I write this...we're laying in her bedroom at the back of the house...past the bathroom I saw that thing walk into...but I woke up and I cannot remember if it was laughing...or crying...but it was coming from 3 or 4 feet beside the bed...near the groud...as if someone were sitting on the floor...it stopped and as I looked up...I saw a girl walk by the hallway door...same size/hair etc as the thing going into the bathroom... Ive never had bad dreams...ever until those two happenings...and the dreams I have are horrid...and when I say horrid...I mean HORRID displays of death and such. And usually during/after these dreams I shake violently and grunt and such until I wake myself...or my GF does. Theres more...mostly having to do with the dreams and such...but Im not too sure on the dreams... ---- anyone else ever have anything paranormal happen?
It was 4 weeks ago, when it was the day before school ends for the year. It was last period, which was Economics, and the teacher was absent for the day, so we didn't have any teacher taking care of us in the class. One of my classmates was sleeping near this storage room opposite the backdoor of the class. Then, she woke up, in a hysteric state, and she was shaking like she was terribly sick. She fell onto the floor since she was bashing around and throwing her books everywhere. Her friends held her and told her to calm down. Then, she screamed out and pointed at the storage room door. She was shaking violently. Me and two of my friends went to find our class teacher, a cleric, at the teacher's lounge. Once we were there, we couldn't find her. We checked her schedule that was laying on her desk, and saw in the schedule that she was at the mosque teaching her students. We didn't have any time going there, so we said to send the said classmate to the mosque to get healed. Around 15 minutes later, another case took part. We were ordered to clean the classroom, and one of my classmates was having a headache. She wanted to be left alone, so they left her near a table, overlooking the storage room door. She then screamed out and pointed at the storage room door and fainted. She was sent to the mosque. Our class teacher ordered everyone to leave the class so she can drive the "ghost" away from the storage room. The bell rang, and so I went home. The next day, I was sick. Around noon, a friend of mine called me and told me that another classmate of mine tried to commit suicide until she was stopped by a few students. Then, she told me that the class was emptied and our class teacher and a few other clerics again tried to drive the "ghost" away. She also told me that the girl that fainted the day before told her that the "ghost" had long, dark hair and was using a white dress with blood stains. It was very scary, looking at my classmates shivering in fear. It really was a scary experience for me.
Now a days discovery also showing such type of show but it is difficult to conclude anything and this discuss will never ends....
My mother and i went on a trip to one of the main cities north of my hometown, we were there for a day or so. About 5pm we were driving down one of the streets after turning off the main road and came to a cross section, with a stop sign. My mum did not see the stop sign and didnt slow down or stop. A car T boned us badly from the right and spun us off the road onto the footpath on the other side of the road... Now this is were it gets freaky. A few seconds later after i recovered my senses i realised i was still in the car and we were about 2 metres from the intersection BEFORE the accident... I screamed out to stop and my mother hit the breaks... We slid into the road and swerved, the car from the right Clipped the back right hand corner of our car and we were spun 180 degrees. Much less damage and no injuries. Handy premonition. Another incident where i dreamed one night i was in an operating theater in a hospital watching my grandmother die slowly with a crowd of staff trying to save her as she drowned in her own blood from multiple stomach ulcers. I woke in the morning and dismissed the dream as just a nightmare. It struck me as strange though, i never was close to my grandparents so it was weird i dreamed of them, little alone the horrid scene i was confronted with. 3 days later i woke in the morning and walked out into the kitchen. My dad was holding my mother who was sobbing in his arms. That night (around the same time as i had had the dream three days earlier) my grandmother had died. Exactly as in my dream. I have always had things like this occur for me. In some circumstances i can manipulate it. In others im just a spectator. Dreams that are as real as u or me in the here and now. No distortion or anything that would betray it to be a dream as such. Horrid visions. Things no mortal should see or know about the future. But then...im not exactly a normal person anyway. Insane? I ------ing hope so.
I am similar to Nasuul. I rarely have dreams which stick in my head the next day, but the nights where I do dream (probably about 3-4 times a week) it ALWAYS occurs within the next couple of days. I can imagine things as simply as interviews, discussions with people, deaths (even of people I don't know), posts here on Gamerenders, where I am driving (in areas I have NEVER been before), etc. Generally they aren't horrid things, at least not to me, but then again, I watch murder videos just to laugh so... lol. It has always been a part of me, ever since I can remember, and my family knows it well. I daily experience long strands of very distinct deja vu, as if I have been here before, as if the questions people are asking me have asked me before multiple weeks beforehand. Its often times scary, because I begin to imagine all the dreams which I do not vividly remember, and they start coming back to me... what else don't I see when I am asleep? I envisioned the phone calls I received after my friends died / committed suicide. As mentioned I have envisioned things simply as driving, and seeing accidents occur in front of me, if not directly to me. I am extremely superstitious regarding ghosts. I know they exist, whether it be because of my mind creating them as visuals and sounds, or simply interpreting different vibrations that others may not hear, or their mind simply ignores. Its never like in horror movies, seeing someone dead and hanging from my roof, but it is almost always sounds... crying, screaming (recently I have encounter a very, very high pitched scream nightly around 2am), laughing, talking, etc. On a few occasions I have seen visualizations... An example is about... 4-5 years ago, when I was 14-15, I was outside around 10pm shoveling my long drive way for school the next day (it snowed pretty heavy) and I looked up for a breather and I noticed a full figured male in a white suit almost staring at me from the neighbors house in the middle of the drive way. No sounds, just standing there, looking blankly at me, I screamed and ran inside, saw him from the inside. I basically slept in a fetal position and later that night around 3am I woke up to heavy breathing over my bed. I refused to open my eyes fully, but I just barely opened one eye enough to look around, and a purely shadowy figure was standing over my bed, so I turned on the lamp next to my bed, and it disappeared. When I was a child in California, my mom and I stayed with a friend of hers a few times, and she was someone whom was actively involved in channeling spirits, and believes entirely in the possibility of ghosts living amongst us. Frequently when at her house I would see blurred out images of people, and shadowy figures, but no great details stick in my head.
I believe that there are ghosts, spirits and such. Yet, I havent experienced anything like this. But one thing, I dreamed about it several months ago. Last saturday, I was going to the church (my cousing had his baptism). We were driving in an unknow area (never been there before), and the next thing I said was "I've been here, we are turning around in the next turn". So, as exactly in my dream that I had several months ago, we turned around. And a few blocks down the road, there was the church. I dont know, it could have been a deja vu. But I knew exactly. ive also heared stories from my mom and dad.
I keep hearing noises in an empty house, which I have to go and investigate, which scares the living crap out of me. I too, like Nasuul and dementia, have dreams where I can manipulate and do things to them, and then I know what to do if something seems weird in real life. For instance, I was in a dream, and me and some girl from my school were walking down the road, and we crossed over. A car screamed past and knocked her over. Just YESTERDAY, the same girl and I were doing the exact same thing, conversing the exact same way, and I was like "Hey, wait." when she was about to cross the road. She was like "Why?", and then The SAME CAR, a red mercedes, shot past at 80 miles per hour at least, and I was like "That's why." - It was like suave, lol. That girl is now my gf, so woot for life-saving premonition dreams. J a c K
My family has had a lot of paranormal experiences over the years. All started back in our old house where my mom would catch a glimpse of a child walking into another room. Or I would feel someone sitting next to me on our couch, like I would feel a portion of the couch move downward as if a person just sat down in it. Or perhaps the most bizzare was when I was around 2 or 3 years old, I would be talking to "people" in my room. My parents both said that they would hear me at 3 or 4 in the mourning haveing a full blown conversation with someone, while no one was in the room. I even got to the point where I would describe what they looked like. Too bad I don't rememeber any of that. It was a loooong time ago.
You told me about that before. Once, while I was with Carbine, on the way home from the store, he and I both caught from the corner of our eyes, a glimpse of a glowing orb, hovering about 20 feet in the air. It stood there, for about... 3 seconds, and then flew off REALLY fast, and it was just a blur. It was REALLY trippy... it happened when we were in about 8th grade or 9th grade. And I do the same thing as Dem. It's hard for me to remember dreams, but I experience Deja Vu very often... and it's the weirdest feeling.
Ghost/Paranormal discussion brings out the worst in people. Three of my old friends saw an "alien" once. They were hanging around in a garage, and heard some footsteps in the gravel outside, they go to look, but nothing is there, they go back inside and see a glowing light flying around the room. They call my sister freaking out and saying they just say a alien. Next morning they realized it was the light from a alarm clock that burned into their vision. This is how most "paranormal" events are. A lot of people see what they want to see, the mind is a powerful thing, if you think your in a haunted house, your mind will make it come true. Excuse me for being critical, but I highly doubt all of you can see the future... If one of you is leing/exaggerating it is likely a lot of you are lieing or exaggerating. I don't have a hard time believing unknown forces exist, it's just tough to believe the people who claim to have seen them.
Its actually a very common trait amongst people. We can't force ourselves to see the future, but our mind subconsciously focuses on things yet to happen, thus creating a sense of Deja Vu often. You can google it and see that its a well known trait amongst people whom appear to use more than the average capacity of their brain. As you said, the mind is a very powerful tool. I am one of those people whom is ALWAYS thinking, my mind is always wandering, it extremely hard for me to focus on 1 particular thing for any extended period of time because of it. I think about everything in my life, everything in my friends lives going on, everything period. Also, as an outcome of this, I criticize myself as if I was being watched from an outside view, and thus look at myself how a majority of other people I believe would look at me, generally causing me to research traits I have to figure out if its normal or not, no clue why, its just me. Also, plenty of people here can have seen it, we only have 175,000+ registered members, yet only 3-4 have stated in this thread they have.
i have that dreaming thing also sometimes i could just SWEAR ive seen it before and the weird thing is that you don't know untill it happens then you're like, wtf ive experienced this before then you know exactly what you're going to say or someone else so weird
My sister is like that also, she has had many dreams about people dying and such which have come true. Once she dreamt of a plane crashing and a couple of days later the very same plane she had seen in her dreams had crashed. She has also dreamt about her friends grandad dying, 2 days later her friend went to her house and said that her grandad had died. Shes dreamt about a lot of ---- that has actually come true just days later. When my grandad was alive, he used to come to my house every day for a cup of tea and a chat, anyhow... just after he died, about a day or 2 afterwards all the windows and doors slammed shut in my house at the exact same time my grandad used to come around, he used to be at mine at 12 every day, there was no wind, it was a very unusual sunny day at the time it happened, i would like people to explain that if they do not believe in ghosts/spirits. Everytime i walk into my house pretty late at night when no-one is up, after a night out in the town or a pub there is always something stood near my kitchen door, the door is always closed at night. I catch it in the cornor of my eye, when i turn around to look at it properly its always gone. One night my mum woke up (my parents bedroom door is always open), anyhow she woke up and just happened to look at the stairs and saw this woman in a crab position on the stairs just staring into her room directly at her, my mum thought it was just her eyes because she had just woken up, as she looked again the same woman was still there still staring at her, my mum ---- herself as would i, got under the quilt cover and hugged my dad really hard. This may seem weird but he will swear down it was real and i believe him. My dad woke up one night to some noise outside, he looked over to his bedroom window to see what it was a saw an angel just floating there smiling at him from outside, he couldn't believe what he was seeing and woke my mum up for her to take a look, as she looked the angel had gone. My dad has seen this same angel more than once, sometimes next to him in his bedroom. We also have a woman in our house, my mum went downstairs to get some cream from the livingroom and could hear music, she thought she may have left the radio on in the kitchen so as she went out of the living room to turn the radio off the music had stopped, she walked back into the livingroom and heard a woman humming a tune. She walked in and out of the livingroom a few times to make sure she wasnt just hearing things but the same thing happened over and over again. Below is all the same night. We all have keys to our doors so that we can lock our door when we go out, anyway this one night myself and my dad were in bed, my mother was on the toilet and she heard this rattling, she got off the toilet to see what it was, the keys on the door to the computer room were swinging from side to side. She came into my room and told me, as i went out the keys were still swinging pretty hard in the door then all of a sudden they stopped, they didnt slow down they just stopped as if someone had just grabbed them. That same night something kicked my mum and dads bed (one of the legs) really hard, they looked over to see what it was but couldn't see anything. On the very same night also i looked up from my laptop and seen something just stood at the bottom of my bed, i closed my eyes and looked again to see that it has vanished. I turned my laptop off and got into bed, i was just nodding off when a woman said 'kirsty' right into my ear, i jumped more than usual as i was nodding off, i looked to the side of me and saw nothing, i dismissed it as i thought i may have been dreaming, i lay down again and roughly 3 minutes later something grabbed my arm and swung it out of my quilt, i got up and turned my light on as i could hardly see anything, my room was empty, no-one was in there with me. Theres plenty of ---- that happens in my house that is unexplainable. My neighbour 2 doors away from me has a little boy in her house. He youngest daughter had to be moved from her bedroom because she was found every night sat on the floor just talking to a little boy, cant remember what she said his name was.. anyhow the eldest daughter got moved into her little sisters room and every night at the exact same time her radio came on, blasting out music, she checked to see if she had an alarm on it but she didn't. She started unplugging the stereo every night before she went to bed but it came on night after night at the same time no matter what she did. Meh i have so many things i could tell you i just can't be bothered anymore, if you don't believe a single word ive said no problem, i know its true so...
