Hey did anyone get this game? I got it yesterday for ps3 and i must say, graphics and the damage are VERY VERY nice. I miss the free city roaming but the game is still good.

Graphics do look amazing. If I had either a PS3 or 360, I'd def get this game as I'm a huge street racing fan.

Played Demo, it's not much but I'm going to ask it for Christmas, it has amazing graphics. It's really bad about the no free-roaming tho, I loved that. :(

I want to get my hands on it, though I will miss the free-roaming. But I'll just keep my copy of Carbon for that

well the point of this game was to actually stop real street racing and tell everyone whats new and its called prostreet racing, where people just gather at a real track and just race with their cars. its more -----, safer and makes your do better etc. etc.

I'd rather have NFSU, NFSC, or the one before Carbon. I played the demo and I hated it. The controls seemed... unresponsive... and very hard to turn... Maybe I'm just not used to the controls...

I was hyped for this game months before it's release, and when the demo came out I downloaded it that same hour. After playing the demo, I was very disappointed in the game itself. Physics were amazing, as even the wind takes it's toll on your car, though there is no standing wind to speak of. I totaled my car, first thing. The damage was only average, as my hood flew off, either bumper, and my side skirts. The rest of my body, however, was only dinged, and I had rolled over a few times. My engine, largely gray, and unable to be seen for detail, was generally a cube, and looked like, as it was, I could still easily drive again if I wanted to.

After about a week, the game came out, and though I didn't like the demo, I still bought it, to go with the rest of my collection. After playing for a few minutes, however, I could see already that what I saw in the demo was not at all what the game itself entailed. Though, as it stands now, the damage is still lacking, the physics that impact you, mixed with the improved realism is a true movement forward for the franchise. To move up to ----street level, is not a loss, just a change of class. Yes, you loose the cops in this one, but don't forget, we lost the cops for a few episodes earlier in the NFS series, and they are sure to return. The tuner aspects aren't as good as I expected, though the paint job has improved dramatically, doing something that no other franchise before - two tone. You can, intentionally paint your car, piece-by-piece, any color, or type of paint you choose. Paint your front bumper pearlesceant blue, and leave the rest a primer gray if you want.

The smoke, as it was acclaimed, is a nice improvement, but doesn't live up to the hype. It is much improved to any other game out there, but the level of smoke that I anticipated being able to make at the jump-off was much more than what I could actually do, when it came down to it. Even if your traction is maxed out before you start a drag race, (Done by burning out perfectly, in the given time.) You still will never see the smoke move any direction except for straight back, or around the tires. As mentioned earlier, there is no wind to effect the direction, so it's stagnant and boring.

Now, comparing all of these minor downfalls to the game, 'Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights,' they are really nothing to blink at. Hands down, if you were deciding between the two, choose NFS: --- Street. Juiced has poor graphics, poor physics, more linear game play, worse damage, terrible AI, and bad background noise. The only advantages to buying Juiced, if this is to tip you in it's direction, would be if you want to race online, for pink slips, or you like to make mismatched body kits.
