In short, this movie is sweet. I got the chance to go to an advance screening tonight, and... go see it when it comes out this weekend! It's entire 3-D and CG, which sounds stupid but it's amazingly realistic. The 3-D effects are done well, with things flying right at you. And, you get to see Angelina Jolie's b00bies. At any rate... this is similar to 300 in that it's mostly just a badass movie. Don't expect it to be incredibly moving or anything, but if you want some good special effects and action... drop the money and go see it.
Hmm I think im gonna watch it on saturday ^^ I watched the trailer and it seemed really cool and oh.. ive seen that boobies already B)
Similar. Like all movies there a few changes, some more noticeable than others, but it follows the basic line of the book. (Beowulf fights Grendel, then Grendel's mother, then finally a dragon and is killed while killing the dragon)
lol, that's awesome Cerberus. I did note many similarites while watching it, but hey... I don't really care because both movies are badass.
yeh i saw it monday its actually quite good and well done, look out for the Golden Surfer lol, i actually liked what they did to Angelina Jolie and thought she fit the character very well.
I dunno, i liked parts, and i didn't like parts. some of the animation wasn't the best. like some of the girls that were bragged about, like Weathlowe was ugly and they said she was supposed to be all attractive. and stuff. but personally i think they did a good job with Angelina Jolie. it had its ups and downs. i didnt like Grendel at all, he was ugly as ------. i thought they could have at least gotten a half way decent looking bad ass troll like they said he looked like in the books. he just looked like a mentally disabled.. i dunno what to call it. i admit they did a great job with the dragon. i would say its halfway decent. i did think it was funny with them trying to cover up his nakedness so much, they did a funny job with it (while he was in the mead hall).
Yeah, that was hilarious. Every single time you got a frontal view there was some random object in the way. I do know that they will be releasing a directors cut that probably won't have that... it's supposed to feature more violence and full nudity. Could be good or bad... it was almost too funny the way they did it for theaters.
did they combine real footage with the CGI animation. cuz is it just me or do the people look ten times more reaslistic then they do in most high tech animated movies. it was so lifelike
