    The sprites color isn't suitable for the red BG.

    I agree. It does have potential. One thing that bothers me is how red he looks.

    Not bad for a first. ;)
    The colors are off, and a few of the effects look
    a little too "big", if you catch my meaning. ;)

    Still not bad. :D
