oooh ok i didnt notice the rebate, i too love rebates only when i remember to mail them in, but un fortunatly i am a very forgetful person.
Buildin this during christmas. Im planing on spending another $100. Im looking for a little better graphics card, may be better ram, whatever you guys say. Ill be looking around so i may edit this post or make a new one if someone posts between
actully that rebate ends the 15 im buying mine around christmas. So Unless i buy some parts now that wont work. But they do have rebates all the time, i dont know. Keep the help comin please
Yeah but you have to make sure it fits into your motherboard. Look up info on your motherboard and find what fits... Most likely they will tho
If youre looking for cheaper parts, these is probably the cheapest D9 chips around http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...&Tpk=996533 Also if you want to replace the stock fans I cant help but recommend this amazing deal, http://www.svc.com/r4-s2s-124k-gp.html But if you want a little more quality (not that the CM's are bad) then I'd recommend these, http://www.svc.com/cs1202512l.html
the balistix is 20% cheaper after rebate. Though w/o rebate, you are indeed correct that should be the cheapest micron d9 kit out there.
Im gettin the balistix done, but im what im needing is a better graphics card, any other comments are apreciated(un-ram related)
I'm not a believer in rebates. I've tried them and the ones I used didn't go through. The closest step up from the 7600gt without too much more $$ would be the 7900GS, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814133186 I would recommend the x1900gt but its harder to find than I thought.
this looks like a good rig man, i'm running crysis on low with a similar setup on 35 fps, i would only advise to get a dx10 more specifially the 8800 gt, great deal for the card that it is
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....amp;x=0&y=0 x1950GT is a good substitution for the x1900...
wouldn't this question be so much easier to ask a week or two before buying, rather than a whole month? Prices will probably be different by then.
