Hey man I live in australia too!

To access internet with your PSP, you need a wireless router connected to your modem. Do you have a wireless router?

Yeah basicly, you'll need a wireless access point. Once you have that it is EASY! :)
If you do have one, turn your WLAN switch ON, oon the left side of the psp, go to settings and then network settings. You'll start to search for a wireless network. Once you've found it, click on it and Press the right key on the D pad to scroll through to the next menu.

You need a wireless router. And depending on it you can search for your router. Put in all the info blah blah.

I reccomend you , hehe, put a password for your wireless and set that up to. It's called WEP , so yeah, make sure you use good use of it :).

You can get a good wireless router in America for about 40 or so, I don't know anything about Australian currency rates; so you do the math :|

And no, your internet will stay at the same price on the bill it is right now

Just like they said make sure you use a WEP key on it
    just for security

just googled "wireless routers" hope this site helps

only if you use a wireless route
you need a wireless access point for your psp to connect to

you cant wirelessly connect your psp to something that is wired
    if that makes sense lol

PSP internet is completely wireless and you can't connect it directly to your modem

thats why you need to buy as wireless router

yes as long as your modem is on

your modem is the, usually black, box that blinks green lights usually

your internet modem doesn't deal with your computers power at all

you can keep your router on, which most people do, over night

    yes

you share the internet connection wirelessly

you can use your computer and 985496451321 different psp's at the same time, it won't effect your computer
