Who else is interested in Underground hiphop? Because I just want to get to know the indie hiphop heads haha. Mainstream rap sucks also heh.

Mainstream rap doesn't suck. There's good mainstream rap out there. Chamillionaire's Ultimate Victory for instance. Or The Root's Game Theory.

Underground there's crap and good stuff also. There's going to be crappy and good stuff everywhere. In every decade, in every genre. Give the insults a rest already.

El Producto is hot, and so is Dalek. :)

You are correct, but even you know there are 20x more of good artists in the Underground part of hip-hop. Yes I agree with the Roots, but Cham is ehh decent. I say my favorite mainstream artists are Common and Kanye West.

Also my favorite Underground artists are Atmosphere (Slug and Ant).

Mainstream rap is the main reason why hip hop is getting criticized.
Anyways, I don't listen to underground hip hop that much apart from MF Doom.

i listen to both, both sides got their ups and downs. Its just that i find underground hip-hop is a lot harder to keep track with.

Well, we should probably make this thread kind of dedicated to underground rap, eh? Keep you updated? Mainstream rap's everywhere, it's easy to keep track of stuff like Jay's new album just released.

It isn't so easy trying to keep up with El-P whom has released his second album in 5 years a few months back. Hot stuff. I suggest it. Chaotic, intelligent, and badass.

Oh yes! All hail the person whom assumes every mainstream rap song is repetitive and lacking any kind of song structure! Being prejudice must be the way to go. :D

Yes I love Nas, I listen to "Hiphop Is Dead" Every single morning when I ride the bus. Dope ----. Jay-Z? Not really much of him. I got his latest album and I wasn't satisfied.

Aesop Rock, El-P, Slug, Eyedea <---They Pwn.

And whoever hasn't heard Tonedeff yet, Check him out. I have friends who mostly listen to mainstream and love him.
