    Hey guys

Just a quick question - when saving a file in PNG format, you can choose "interlace" or "none".

    What is the difference?

    Thanks guys

I could take a guess, a .png is a lossless image so if you choose "none" then it will be at full resolution. If you choose interlace then it will lower the quality of the image and size of the image.

Don't quote me on that though... ;)

    Unless I'm mistaken,

Interlace - saves the image so when it's loaded it's blurry and sharpens as it loads completely
None - saves the image normally so when it's loaded it loads top to bottom

But I could be mistaken lol

ive never saved anything as interlaced before as i only use the none option, but idk about your question but the other guys seem to have pretty much the same idea.
