Well I'm currently a senior and its time to start sending out college appliacations. I wanted to attend a graphic design college and i was looking to see if any of you guys have attended any art colleges and any other thinsg you may recommend. Things to consider: 3.4 GPA with AP classes and Honor Classes 1700 on SAT first try without studying, aiming for 2k in december 30k a year budget without scholarships I want to either go into graphic design, drawing design and webdesign. Distance is not a problem as long as it is in USA Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I wish I had the money you did. Did you get the money through scholarships or through family wealth? I'm screwed when it comes to college; my family is an average upper middle class family, with no extra money for college. Sucks too, I was supposed to go to a school for highly advanced writing and composition in 4th grade, but my family couldn't afford it.
My brother goes to Expressions in California, and I'm going to go there once I graduate. They don't really look at your sat/gpa/classes but rather at your extracurricular activities. They have a really high rate of people who get internships after they graduate, and while you are there you get to work with all of the other classes, so for example you could help the sound art students design an album cover.
Full Sail rocks, there is also one in LA. But it costs way more than 30k. More like 55 - 60k. You may wanna try out SCAD though. Savannah College of Art and Design. It's in Georgia and it is full of win.
i got to the university of the arts london .. can recommend it! biggest arts uni in the world dnt know much about the states though
