Im wondering what people consider games you would play at a party. The best examples I would say are Super Smash Bros. Melee and Halo. I ask because my Crew team is planning on doing a weekly game night and we are looking for games. We have all the next-gen consoles so were not limited to just older games. If anyone would like to list some others that would be great.
My group of friends usually play halo and guitar hero...if at all possible try to get 2 xboxs connected over lan.
Guitar Hero comes to mind, but I dont think any of us own a single copy of the series, but I was thinking maybe Warhawk? I dont have it, but have been considering it to buy it. I figured that maybe Mario Kart and Wii sports. Im looking for two or three games per console so Im short one/two xbox and one/two PS3 if you count Warhawk. I could throw Guitar Hero in one group but that still leaves me short two games.
Warhawk is great fun too and you can exchange players on the fly. This means if two people are playing and the third wants to play he can just press start on the controller and the screen automatically splits into 3 and same if a 4th wants to play, just press start and good to go. Also, same thing if they want to stop, if they quit the game it automatically enlarges the screen back to 2 way split screen.
Warhawk is a lot of fun at parties, and by yourself...although the only problem is that you can't join ranked games with a party, but it's not that big of a deal.
guitar hero is definitely the best. i played it friday at a party. everyone was drunk of their asses, but you can still play the game
