Sometimes, when i start making a tag, i feel like i can't do more, because i need more images do work on and improve that one tag. I lack creativity and inspiration, and i was wondering if it ever happened to you and how did you fix it, did you change your daily routine, did you start reading different stuff, etcetera. Oh, and what do you listen to while you do the magic (by magic, i mean the above) *
I don't listen to music, since I don't have an iPod. But if I did, probably anything. I've had those days. I just searched here or somewhere for a render or stock or something to put in the image, whether I like it or not. Then I just kinda go with that.
i just put my itunes on shuffle and listen to what ever comes on or i just give up and come back another time. Just look at other peoples tag and try to do what theyve done into yours.
lmao just look and see if you can do it in your own style is what i meant lol, or experiment see what works or doesnt work..
It really depends for me. I always listen to music when doing work. It really helps me to focus. I also have the lights off, for some reason it helps. When I get stumped I will usually lean back in my chair and put my feet on the desk and just stare at the piece or close my eyes and think. And I even minimize photoshop and just browse around the interwebs and look at stuff. And I do look at other people's work and get inspired.
I get inspired by music lyrics. They put a lot of effort into their lyrics and it helps inspire me to express it in my own way.
Exactly what I do. Yeah, looking at other works helps a lot, not to copy exactly but to inspire. I listen to music every time I do something in photoshop, and if I ever get stumped I basically zone out and let my mind run wild until I get that blast of inspiration.
I always listen to music, but probably not the one that you can be inspired by. My main problem is when i only have a render to do a whole tag, without using anything else. I also look at people's work, and i see tutorials, but i think that, for these 3 years i have been using ps, i see too many tuts and don't make that many tags because i am a perfectionist, and if i don't like it, ill probably close photoshop and watch tv ;D
lmao. That's just like me. Like all the others said, I look at other peoples work for ideas and inspiration. When I see a particular render/stock that makes me overflow with joy, I make it into a tag or put it in a projects folder. Go with something you like. Don't just choose any old render/stock to create a tag out of.
Well, actually, in these last 2 weeks i think i got hit by something from heaven, as i'm not having that much of inspirational blackouts : D
I myself listen to music for a while until I figure out what to do. Or I look at peoples sigs here and decide on what to do next.
