Recently I found out that the LCD screen in my digital camera broke, and it was a month before the warranty. (It's my parent's camera, not mine.) We took it into to see if we could trade it, but they said we couldn't because our warranty plan didn't cover it. (It seemed though like they were saying we broke the camera.)

Do you think it'd be better to replace the LCD for $125-$150 or just get a new camera? (The current one is a Canon Powershot approx. 2 years old.)

I would personally just get a new one because you will get more features and a higher mega pixel camera for not much more money bro.

The investment in the money for the LCD into a new camera would be more worth while right now. I would go with the new camera.

I would buy the new camera and because the camera I bought 3 yrs ago is now like $99 and it was like $250 when I bought, so depending on the quality of your camera, its up to you but I would buy a new camera.
