The smudging is really good, but it seems like more of a base instead of a finished product.

I think it looks good... although I'm a newb and don't have that trained eye =]

 

It has good smudging and techniques, but I just don't really like what they add up to for an outcome. There's not much besides a smudged bg.

 

i agree with trans, great job with the smudging.. i wish i could do it that good.. but it looks like its just the beginning of something. play with it a bit more

 

umm is it me or is the lighting coming from the oppisite side of the light source????

 

Your other sig is amazing smudging some of the best iv seen. You could have done better but its a very good start, put a little more for the eye to focus on. Just my 2 cents.

 

The smudging is great. I don't much care for the colors though. They just don't go with the render on the right side. It just looks like its missing something though. Keep at it.

 

Really plain and dull looking imo..Needs more stuff done to it.
