Alienware Laptop

    That's the truth as well. There was nothing on it but the OS and Alienware GUI for Windows XP. It was just so you could skin your windows, that's all that was on it. So, if you think that is a big plus, sure.

    I didn't read the first page... But you can certainly get better for your money by going with a different company;Dell has some of the worst Tech Support I've heard of.

    yeah thats why i wasnt sure because i really don't like dell but isn't alienware a branch of dell? or something? idk it seemed like they worked together i just wanted to know whether it was a good buy or not thanx i appreciate it lots :) you people are so damn knowledgeable i might as well come to GR whenever i ever have a tech question :) haha

    Dell does currently own Alienware.

    Dell is a solid company, Alienware is its gaming branch, alongside the Dell XPS.

    I've been looking into getting a custom desktop from www.ibuypower.com or from a different site which I forget at the moment; that's if I don't go to newegg and build my own.

    I saw an ad for them in a PC Gamer magazine awhile back, and their prices are pretty reasonable.


    Even before Dell bought Alienware, their products were a little overpriced.
