Betrayal || Quake Wars

I love this piece, I don't know why. Tell me what you think.

I dunno what it is, but I'm sick of making pointless sigs unless they are for really sweet games or are just sick stock/renders.

The point of this is that the Strogg will do anything to achieve success, even betray their own kind.

I think the second dude's face
takes away from the focul a bit though.
Just in my taste. Maybe blur the bg just a
tiny itsy bit more too.

I tried to keep the dudes face without making it look like no one was there. He's in the midground, man, it's really hard to work with multiple renders. He's supposed to be betrayed by the other Strogg, because Strogg are the type of race to do anything for team or personal victory. I think I should've changed the lighting a bit over the 2nd guy, but I'm not sure. Also, incase it wasn't apparent for anyone else who read this, the guy in the middle is being burnt and he is screaming for help to the other guy, who is ignoring him and leaving him to die.

nice concept and execution of this tag man. The idea is nice and so is the outcome.

I would suggest maybe bringing the foreground out more, the background dude seems to flow from the maingrounds shoulder....

Well if you look at it as I made it, there isn't a large distance between fore, mid, and backgrounds. The left of the sig is the farther part of the BG, but towards the center and right sides, there's a wall behind the renders. The fire on the main guys left should is supposed to be as if he is walking out of the fire, leaving his disabled teamate to suffer.

I do see what you mean, a bit more depth could have been incorporrated, its jsut very difficult with all of the effects and such..thanks for the comments though.

Work on your text, also the white brushing doesnt add much to it.

no what you mean by the dont want to make it look as though no one was there but try putting a gaussian blur on it then fading it till it suits you

and i think Mathiasa meant the white brushing in the lighting and to the right of the tag
