to improve try to use high quailty ews picture and very large pictures how did u cut it with the pen tool or lasso? or

 

dont feather it as much it looks like you feathered it ALOT

 

Try using better pictures and read some tuts on rendering, i think you used the brush tool or you feathered it a lot

As for your render, I think it's good for your very first one

Well, its your first so it supposed to be not that good, use the pen tool and put feather on 0 at the normal parts, and at the blasts use feather between 0,5 and 1 try this and your result will be a lot better

 

It is pretty good for a first. Try to find some more high quality pics because this one isn't too high quality. Also, decrease your feather a bit. It looks like it was feathered to 2 pixels. 0 is good, or 0.5 is good if you want to feather it a bit.

 

try to use better image so the cut could be better

* delete photoshop or any other photo editing tools
* Burn your computer and tear off those god awful hands of yours
* then Die!

This will be the last thing I write becuase i'm tearing out my eyes because your image was so awful.
