i need help with text like always i make a pretty nice sig IMO but when it comes to text i freeze up

I did this really quick it was really easy to make as you can all tell it looks simple but i like it please help with text

 

You mean the text on the book?

I think it's ok.
It's way too dark though.
Colored ver probably the best imo.

No there is no text on most of my sigs when i post them because that is my weak point (not that i have any overlly strong points) but thanks for the comments

I know how ya feel mate.
Text is a weak point for 99% of
gfx peeps.
But you can get better at it. You
just have to screw up and get somebody
who's good at text to thrash it, then you
gradually get better. ^_^

Keep it up, I like the style of your current.

v2 has some great coloring and smooth feel but too much negative space.

 

Crop a little off the bottom, I think a nice, simple cursive font near the bottom would look nice with the sig.
