No More Analog Tv?

    i got sky but its dumb tht ppl hve to go all bloody digital

    or you could buy a converter for 10 bucks.

    no we have a goverment. :)

    and they are doing the same within the next 5 years all anolog signals in britian will be gone :)

    so there smart arse! haha

    this will eb great for emergency situations where analog signal tends to be more reliable... quality might be ---- but atleast it'll go through.

    What the hell is analogue and digital? I got Sky Digital in UK SKYHD box, does it refer to as analogue or digital?

    EDIT: Is analogue those channels u already get with TV and not others, for e.g. having 1-5 channels?

    I don't really watch T.V myself, but its for the champions league ^^

    listen to a record or cassette tape

    that's analog

    then listen to an mp3 file, that's digital.

    This has been iffy for the past few years. I remember last year I was talking with my cable company and they said in 2008 we would have to all change to digital TV's, then about 203 mnonths later they said 2009. So maybe we will get lucky and they'll keep raising the date lol

    well, im pretty sure the digital to analog converters cost something more like $50-70, but still, its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying an hdtv
