I forgot to add "Of Saints and Soldiers." It's a WWII movie.

Saving Private Ryan and Full Metal Jacket are the two best war movies imo.

Saving Private Ryan - An all time classic and great movie. It is undisputably one of the best war movies out their, and the shining point in the carrears of many of the actors in it. Recommended to anyone old enough to watch it. I actually damm near shed a tear at the end...almost.

The last samurai - Okay so a little out of ur classic 'ww2 guns and explosions' war theme, but this movie showed with such depth and passion the honour and moral code of some of the oldest and greatest of the worlds warrior fighting men. Showed their life and death in vivid clarity. And one of Cruises best performances. I could actually stand to watch him.

    Windtalkers
    We were brothers - series
Jarhead - Modern warfare in the open.
    Behind enemy lines
Enemy at the gates - Sniper fun...BOOM headshot!
We were soldiers - One of the greats as well. An awesome movie.

    Why just the Normandy episodes?

Band of brothers is the best (war) series ever made.

Full Metal Jacket - Great movie, displayed the effects of the Vietnam War pretty darn good

    Platoon

A Thin Red Line - Good one overall, but I agree with the others in that it was longer than necessary

    Enemy at the Gates

Pearl Harbor - Oh yea, good movie. Sad story.

    We Were Soldiers
