Hey guys! Here's a totally new style for me. Thought I'd get creative and see what came of it. I didn't use any effects or stocks or anything. Purely pen tool and paintbrush on the LP. On the tag I used a few clipping masks and some gradient maps. Not be a bitch, but it's a bit kid-like. I mean, it's good vectoring and the pen tool is good, but, the theme is kinda kidd-ish. I like the quality and the fact that it's non-stock, but I just don't like the childish style. I've never been one for any type of vectored sigs, so maybe that makes me think less of this. I hope you know what I mean, the clouds and stars are well drawn and the idea is original, just the theme.
No man. I get ya, I've seen things that took some skill and work, but I didn't like the way they look. So it's all good. Thanks for the positive stuff though. I like it, so that's all that really matters to me. ^_^ Anymore?
Thanks mate. Means a lot. ^_^ I was looking at the text in the LP and I think I'm going to stagger each letter instead of having it in a plain line.
Don't listen to that guy talking about it being "kid-ish." It doens't need to be chocked full of testosterone to be cool. I love the style. It reminds me of Yoshi's Island, and I love that game.
Haha! Yoshi's Island! I used to play that at my gmas house all the time! Yeah, It's all good. Some ppl just don't like certain styles. Glad you like it mate. Thanks for the comment. Any more Commentage?
