Hey guys. Don't know if any of you enjoy poetry, but usually artistic minded people do have a taste for literature and so I thought I would create a thread in 'entertainment' for the purpose of poetry. After all, I consider poetry a form of entertainment. I will post my poem I just wrote and if you guys would, give me comment and critique on it If you guys want to, submit your own poems and I will comment and critique them. It should be fun to see what all of your creative minds come up with. Lets have fun with this My Poem, My Demise: Resolved by StoneSoup My demise, ever closer approaching encroaching, smothering remnants of loathing knowing: certain, absolute, no doubt time dwindles with each breath I breathe out yet selfishly, constantly striving for fame when despite achievements, it all ends the same so I let it all go, no longer a means to my end no longer bound by rules and truth that it bends Now there is calm, I have left it to the Maker No more harboring hate, only faith in a Saviour Realization, putting it in the hands of my God Letting Him have all these fears that I've got Cherish each second, the life that you're livin' Enjoy every moment in the time you've been given. Then in the end, no loathing, cry no more tears After all, it is He who made your dreams AND your fears Well, that was it. Hope you guys can do some CnC on it and post some of your own work as well.
