Guild Wars doesn't require a monthly fee.

Play Silkroad online, it's pretty fun.

Guild Wars is more like Diablo than an MMORPG.

  8. Half-Life and Halo were great fps', check em' out.

I can recommend Half-Life, all versions.
I don't recommend trying anything of Silkroad or Guild Wars and stuff, cause no offense but the grahpics aren't good. I'd recommend you to Oblivion, altho it doesn't have an online function. (Last time I played it at my mates house. ;))
