    hey, thx. yea, the second layer of grass, the one that goes above Mugen was a last second thought, lol. I noticed it would look better like that right before I finished. But yea, once I get better, I'll try some of the tuts I've seen on here for the harder ones.

    it woud look alot better without the texture overlay, nice job on first tag

    I agree with Xed, without the texture this would of made a very nice, simple clean tag. The texture seems to throw it off, otherwise...great work, especially for your first!

    yea, not sure why I did that texture. I think what I was trying to do was go with the samurai theme and make it look like old style japanese art, not sure tho.

    Yup, it gives it kind of a "parchment" old paper look, it worked well, I just think it would look a lot better without it ^_^

    alot better then mine. not hard to beat this so called "sig" tho, lol. Naw yours is pretty good, I kinda like that "parchment" look. It kinda goes wit that theme.

    eh, dont worry, you'll get better. Just keep tryin new things. Not long ago I did stuff like urs, then I just started to experiment in Photoshop and made this. I still have alot to learn tho too, lol.
