Two albums still to be released that will probably contend:
    CoCa - Long Album Name
    DEP - Ire Works (siggy)

    Probably either
    M.I.A.- Kala
    or
Of Montreal- Hissing Fauna Are You The Destroyer?

Seriously, if you haven't heard of either of them... give them a listen. :)

What's with these terrible bands getting nods?

    TDWP, Circa Survive?

Seriously? Is this what the world has come from? Next thing I know Soulja Boy wins a Grammy (oh god now he will)

    for best rap album release...

for me it's, Chamillionaire - Ultimate Victory
while Kanye's was damn good, Ultimate Victory has the re-play value for me.

Pig Destroyer for best grind or death. Their new album is almost flawless in every way.
