Ok well ive got a video on my laptop that is in AVI format and i would like to sorta get the sound of the AVI and save as a music format (Mp3 anything like that) and i was wondering if anyone knew any useful Software. So far ive tried Riverpast audio converter but i have no idea where to go next. Lol this is pretty imporatant ^_^ Thanks for any suggestions. -M1k3y
If RiverPast didn't work then you're just doomed..........DOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEDDD!!!!!!!!! Ok but really, do you just not know how to do it in RiverPast or is it just not working?
Well tbh in riverpast it ripped and said it had worked but i played the file and it had been recording from my microhone for some reason :S
oh well try disconnecting the mic and make sure you set it not to do it from the mic
Hmm im not sure on how i could do that. Ive currently got it uninstalled so ill download it and install it and then ill fiddle around with the settings and get back to you.
Ok i think i may have the solution. Have you got any good prgrams to convert .SWF to AVI ? Because ive been using "Bytescout SWF to Video Scout" and it for some reason doesnt convert the sound. It has an option weather to convert sound and i tick it everytime so i have no idea why But if you have any programs it would help -M1k3y
you said its a built in mic right? if thats the case all you have to do is go to control panel--->sound and audio devices-->go to the tab labeled "Voice"---->then click volume and turn it all the down or mute it.
InfeQion i understand what you are saying but im not trying to get rid of the Audio from my mic im trying to record it from my sound card ^_^ -M1k3y
you could also use a freeware program called audacity... but there should be an option to make it record from a sound card instead of a mic, something like wave in instead of mic do some searching and if all else fails go to the help section
