IT could be a stalker tapping all your stuff and waiting for his moment to strike, or get all your information and blackmail you later. Still it is also possible that the po-po is after you or it could simply be a cable problem. I would contact the cable company and ask if anything new or odd has happened in your area lately. Then pending that answer is a no watch outside your house, see if the van is parked in the same area constantly or moves, if their is any unusual happening, or if their is a guy peeking in your window. Hope this all gets sorted out for you without getting a "visitor" in the middle of the night.
Personally I think that the feds dont really care about the people who are dlers, they care more about the people who provide. On a side note, p2p is legal in canada, so if you live near the border .
unless you have so many song that ppl are dling from you and you become a root to dl from and really unless you have a million songs the feds could care less and to bug your phone the fed wouldnt contact your cable company and why would they need to bug your phone if your dling stuff? call your cable company and make up some bs excuse for cutting it and ask them what it was
I'd probably poo myself if that happened. And thats why I don't download anything off of LimeWire or any other torrent
I seriously doubt the feds are monitoring your connection, and here's why: The authorities NEVER go after the end user in Piracy. In case you didn't know, copyright law is a civil matter until you create and distribute more than 10 copies of something, or the total value of pirated material you own exceeds 2.5 thousand dollars (US). Up until that point, it is the responsibility of the person you're ripping off, to make a civil suite against you. So, unless they have a search warrant, they would be illegally monitoring you. If they did have a warrant, they would have to announce it, and what they're doing. Realistically, unless you're distributing pirated material, you are almost completely safe from prosecution for piracy.
Dont use p2p. Ask for an invite to a private tracker, and also get your stuff encrypted. If the feds would be at my house, I'd be like.; WHAT ER EFF?
haha ^ i'd say phone em upp and say what that clicking noise is & it would bea good time to get a new HD shove it in and get that main one out and hide it somewhere in a external caddy like i do haha
Damn that around where I live, though I only use limewire to download a lot of hardcore techno songs that iTunes and other things dont have.
ye i saw that as long as you dont share a BIG MASSIVE library then it causes less attention towards you most people get tapped or FEDs get on their ass due to the sharing part - Even though downloading is illegal through say limewire or warez site - You should control how much you download & importantly the uploading Ive got like 65GB of music lolz but i dont share them over a network or anything just for personal use - All tht probably amounts to say *works out maths* If that woman got charged like $222,000 for 1702 songs then i get charged around $1.8mil LMFAO ..
So I checked with my dad, who used to be involved with law enforcement. It defienetly sounds like your line has been tapped. However, it wouldnt be the feds that do it. They would have came out and did it themselves, rather then having the cable company do it, and odds are, you wouldnt have caught them doing it if they did it themselves. So I would defienetly suggest finding out why your cable company has tapped your line.
take green paint, paint cable green, cut cable, say you were doing yard work and thought it was a plant, or maby brown(tree)
