Hello, I've just got myself a Dazzle DVC 170 Capture card, don't really know much about them, and I was trying to figure out how to connect it.

Ok, I have a question. I have an Xbox 360 --- with the HD cables, and here's how it looks in the back of my TV just for clarification and easier understanding,

I would reckon that you replace the green wire, which is video, with an AV splitter, and hook up the green wire into the AV splitter and then also a yellow wire into the other side of the AV Splitter, then hook up the other side of the yellow wire into the Capture card. Will this work, or is there a certain way to do this with HD?

    Thanks in advanced.

I believe you're looking for an HD Capture Card, and the DVC 170 isn't one (I have a 170 myself as well).

Ah, so If I don't want to use the HD, I can always use the normal AV Cables right?

Correct. I play in S-Video, but I have Composite TV-Out outputs on the back of my television, which then connects to my DVC 170, and then the USB from the DVC 170 to my PC.

I prefer playing in HD over Composite anyday, but it's not entirely terrible.

Ehh, it's not to iffy, it's doable. I'll just play on HD, then use my capture card whenever I want to on normal.
BTW +Rep if you haven't noticed.
